What is Cyber Essentials?
Cyber Essentials is a UK Government-backed certification scheme that shows your business has the key controls in place to protect against common cyber attacks.
Why does my business need Cyber Essentials?
It's increasingly required for public sector contracts and by larger organisations in their supply chains. It also gives customers confidence and helps you find and fix weaknesses before attackers do.
What's the difference between Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus?
Cyber Essentials is a self-assessment verified by a certification body. Cyber Essentials Plus covers the same controls but adds a hands-on technical audit of your systems by an assessor.
How long does certification last?
Certification lasts for 12 months, so you'll need to renew each year. We can help keep your systems compliant in between, so renewal is straightforward.
