Backup & Disaster Recovery

Backup and disaster recovery that gets you back to work

Ransomware, hardware failure, a lost laptop or simple human error can wipe out your data in seconds. We make sure it's backed up, recoverable and that you have a tested plan for getting your business running again.

What we provide

Backups you can rely on, plans you can follow

Cloud-to-Cloud Backup

Exchange, OneDrive, SharePoint and Teams backed up to a separate, secure cloud with Barracuda. Find out more

Disaster recovery planning

A written plan setting out what gets restored first, who does what and how long recovery should take.

Recovery testing

Regular restore tests prove your backups actually work, long before you need them.

Cloud-to-Cloud Backup

Cloud-to-Cloud Backup for Microsoft 365

Microsoft keeps Microsoft 365 running, but it isn't a complete backup of your data. Deleted items are only kept for a limited time, and ransomware or a mistake can affect files across your whole organisation. Our Cloud-to-Cloud Backup, powered by Barracuda, automatically copies your Microsoft 365 data to a separate, secure cloud, so it can be restored quickly whatever happens.

✓  Automatic backups, with no hardware to manage

✓  Stored separately from Microsoft 365

✓  Restore a single email or file, or a whole mailbox or site

✓  Protection against deletion, ransomware and account compromise

FAQs

Backup and disaster recovery questions

Doesn't Microsoft already back up our Microsoft 365 data?

Microsoft keeps its services running, but it isn't a full backup of your data. Deleted items are only kept for a limited time, and accidental deletion or ransomware can affect your files. Our Cloud-to-Cloud Backup, powered by Barracuda, protects Exchange, OneDrive, SharePoint and Teams in a separate, secure cloud.

What's the difference between backup and disaster recovery?

Backup is the copy of your data. Disaster recovery is the plan and process for getting your business working again, including which systems come back first and how long it should take.

How often should we test our backups?

We recommend testing restores regularly and reviewing your recovery plan at least once a year, or whenever your systems change.

Will backups protect us from ransomware?

Yes. Secure, separate backups are one of the most important defences against ransomware, because they let you recover without paying criminals.
