Cyber Essentials Plus adds an independent technical audit to prove your security works in practice. We prepare your devices, accounts and network beforehand, so there are no surprises on the day.
What's different
Cyber Essentials Plus covers the same five controls as Cyber Essentials, but an independent assessor tests your systems directly rather than relying on a questionnaire alone.

What is Cyber Essentials Plus?
Cyber Essentials Plus is the higher level of the UK Government-backed Cyber Essentials scheme. It includes a hands-on technical audit to verify your security controls are working.
Do I need Cyber Essentials before Cyber Essentials Plus?
Yes. You need to hold Cyber Essentials first, and the Plus audit must be completed within a set period afterwards, typically three months. We can plan both together so the timings work.
Why do businesses fail the Cyber Essentials Plus audit?
